Oops! We Left Out the 'Organized Religion' Part!

Tired of religion?
We feel your pain!

Sorry, we don't have a "church service," but we do get together in lots of different Bible Studies, from small to large. We're a fellowship of Christians without any formal membership, open to anyone. It's where people check out the Bible and ask questions without getting all sticky about it.

And we have a good time at it!

That's what happens when people find the freedom that comes from the love Jesus taught. Who needs all the stuffing? The way he talked about it, Christianity isn't a religion and never should be. It's more about relationships that work right.

Our "services" at northeast Ohio Xenos are simply "offering freedom through the love of Christ" to neighbors, family and friends.

A technical (but useful) Note: We don't like the word "church" because it's way too confusing. "Church" means something like "church building" to most people, and that's definitely not what Xenos is all about -- and it's not a term the Bible uses either. "Gathering" or "meeting" is the Bible's way to describe Christian get-togethers. (See "ekklesia" in your Bible study tools.)
